Patricia, Trish, was a great personal friend for 40+ years and was also my practice manager when I was a GP.
We both joined the New Street Practice in 1982 where she was the first practice manager. Following the plans to build the Octagon Centre we were moved to Lichfield Street and a new surgery called Peel Croft.
She built a team of staff which we held on to beyond her retirement and also mine.
She watched my three children from infancy to adulthood and treated them almost as her own. She also had a lovely relationship with my late wife Clementine.
We all knew her late husband Mike who would pop into the surgery for a chat.
Trish eventually moved in Riverside Care Home where she was well loved and happy for several years.
She will be very sadly missed by those who knew and dearly loved her.
